Tim J Maggs, MRICS Managing Partner
Tim is the Managing Partner and oversees all aspects of the business. Tim has 20 years experience in surveying and valuing in Bristol and the surrounding areas. He acts for private clients, local solicitors, major lenders, housing associations and charities providing advice on values, condition and acting as expert witness when required.
Anna Maggs, MNAEA MNAVA Partner
Anna has been a Partner of the firm since 1994 and is Head of our Investment and Auction Departments. Anna is the Auctioneer and deals with our larger clients’ needs; she has a wealth of experience in the residential and commercial market places and is able to give advice on all aspects of property and land sales.

James has an extensive knowledge of property having dealt with all aspects since 1999 including: auction, commercial and investment, although nowadays he is Partner in charge of our residential estate agency, new homes and Lettings and Management departments. He has been responsible for the running and development of our market leading estate agency since 2004. Due to demand from local Landlords and Investors he has more recently helped open our Lettings and Management division, which adds to the extensive service of our agency. James has carefully recruited his multi-disciplined team of Estate Agents and Lettings Consultants ensuring professional standards and a positive experience for our clients.
Toby Fisher, Manager
Toby has been at Maggs & Allen for over 9 years. With an extensive knowledge of the commercial and residential property market he is well placed to advise on the best course of marketing for all auction, investment and commercial properties. Over the years Toby has established excellent relationships with corporate clients and private investors whose repeat business has cemented Maggs & Allen’s position at the forefront of the Bristol property market.
Ann Zadarnowski, Business Development Manager
Ann is our Business Development Manager and has been with Maggs + Allen for over ten years she has first hand experience of the Estate Agency and surveying business. With a background in financial services, sales and marketing, Ann looks after all of Maggs + Allen’s marketing and compliance. She continually monitors our service to clients and handles their development.
Joanne Ramsey, Assistant Manager
Joanne is a well known and respected estate agent in Bristol and joined our Estate Agency in 2010 after a long career with a corporate Estate Agency. Joanne specialises in residential sales and sales management. She is responsible for helping to organise our Agency and help ensure our cleints receive a gold standard level of service. Joanne liaises with solicitors and other parties involved in chains to ensure that sales proceed to a smooth and positive conclusion.
Rob Ansell, Senior Negotiator
Rob joined Maggs & Allen in January 2007 and is now senior negotiator in the auction & investment department. He specialises in the valuation and sale of a variety of auction properties across Bristol, Bath and the South West. Rob's experience and expertise has helped to establish Maggs & Allen as the leading property auctioneers in the Bristol area.
Tom Kitchen, Senior Negotiator
Tom has been with Maggs & Allen since 2005 and specialises in residential lettings & management and sales. Tom’s wide and varied experience in Estate Agency along with his likeable character makes him an excellent and trusted estate agent.
Chris King, Dip DEA Negotiator
Chris is an excellent, experienced Estate Agent as well as a qualified domestic energy assessor. He understands the modern ethical approach to estate agency and generates very positive feedback from both buyers and sellers alike.
Laura Heselgrove
Laura joined our market leading Estate Agency in 2011 after working for a corporate firm for 5 years. Her extensive knowledge and great organisational skills play a large part in the smooth running of our Estate Agency and she has fast become a highly regarded member of our agency team.
Nicola Henderson

Nicola has worked in the industry as a Senior Negotiator over a period of 15 years and has joined Maggs and Allen after a career break which took her to Portugal with her family. Her understanding of the business gives her confidence in dealing with sales and marketing on professional and personable level. She is a welcome addition to our Estate Agency and helps strengthen our already experienced team.
Dan Cox
Dan joined the Maggs & Allen team in July 2011. Due to the increasing number of properties being sold, he has been appointed to assist in the day to day running of our busy department. With a background in customer service, Dan has been able to put his people skills to good use whilst dealing with potential purchasers and is already proving a valued member of the team.
Paul Kingscote, MRICS Consultant Surveyor
Paul has been a chartered surveyor for over 20 years having qualified from Bristol University in 1988. A RICS qualified chartered surveyor, Paul has extensive experience in both the residential and commercial markets and is also a qualified domestic and commercial energy assessor.
Marcia Turner, Lettings Consultant
Marcia has an extensive knowledge of both the practical and legal requirements of residential lettings. Marcia was previously the South West Regional Director of a national letting agency for more than 16 years, and has more than 30 years' experience in the letting and property managment industry. Marcia has qualified for both ARLA I and II with merit.
